Presentation Agrolats Holdings and Atlantic Protein S.A.R.I. Atlantic Protein S.A.R..L is a official branch of Agrolats Holdings in Morocco (www.sarmafish.com), a full company structure of Agrolats Holdings is provided. The company was founded by the current CEO of the company Mr. Egons Naglis, in 2008. Mr. Naglis began the business as an agent of Agrolats, buying Fish Meal (FM) on behalf of Agrolats for the Latvian market. Later in 2008 Agrolats expanded its activities and opened official branches in Russia (Belagro) and Belarus (AGD). In 2009 Atlantic Protein began supplying fish meal to the West European market principally Germany, Spain and Denmark. In 2010 Atlantic Protein established a business relationship with Omega Protein, Inc and sold some 7000 MTs of Moroccan Fish Meal to them. In 2010 Atlantic Protein, jointly with Agrolats Holdings, built a fully operational Frozen Fish factory in the port of Laayoune, Morocco and established a JV Fish Meal plant with Mauritanian FM company Omaurci, who operates a fish meal plant in Mauritania. These plants also process sardines for the frozen sardine markets.In 2011 Atlantic Protein, together with Agrolats Holdings, completed a new fully equipped Fish Meal plant at Ventspils , Latvia. Today Atlantic Protein has established a relationship with 10 Fish Meal and Fish Oil producers in Morocco and Mauritania and buys FM and FO for export to Europe, South America and Asia. During 2012 Atlantic Protein, with their Chinese partners, concluded the licensing process for two Moroccan and one Mauritanian Fish Meal manufacturers for export to China. In December 2012 Atlantic Protein started to supply the Turkish market as well. 1: In January 2013 Sarma Fish arranged Russian import licenses for two FM plants for Omega Protein USA. In 2012 Atlantic Protein sold over 80,000 metric tons of fish meal, fish oil and frozen fish. Total gross revenue was more than $90,000,000 USD. With new licenses in China and Russia Atlantic Protein has already signed contracts with large Chinese importers for many thousands of MTs per year.
